Sharing your life with animals means saying goodbye to them. Kate will discuss what a companion animal death doula is, how she was moved to become one, and how she incorporates it into her behavior practice to support clients and raise awareness about grief and end-of-life preparedness.

Kate LaSala is a multi-credential behavior consultant who specializes in fear, aggression, and separation anxiety. She is also a Family Paws Educator who helps families with dogs struggling with children. As a companion animal end-of-life doula, she helps clients prepare for their losses and supports those coping with stigmatized losses like behavioral euthanasia.

She owns Rescued By Training and exclusively serves behavior and doula clients worldwide via remote sessions.
