S.A.F.E. Method for Managing Separation Anxiety with Lynn Brearey

Separation Anxiety is a family welfare problem. When dogs have separation anxiety, they cannot be at home alone, creating stress and anxiety for all concerned.
When left home alone, dogs panic and genuinely believe their guardian is not returning and that they have been deserted. As a certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT), I understand that helping dogs overcome separation anxiety employs systematic desensitization protocols. However, extensive training programs can be burdensome for some families because they can take time and financial resources.
This webinar will present a management plan for families to implement. This plan will help their dog be more comfortable at home and provide them with well-deserved freedom, a win-win situation for all.

Your Presenters-Lynn Brearey CSAT, CPDT-KA

Lynn’s work with dogs started 15 years ago when she adopted a Labrador Retriever from a rescue group and then became a volunteer. Her commitment to helping dogs led me to CATCH Canine Academy, where she learned how to train dogs by using positive reinforcement. Lynn has been training dogs for several years and continues to learn something new with each dog she works with.

Lynn expanded her knowledge by becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), and then recently, I returned to school and became a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT).

Lynn lives in the Upper Perk area with her husband, Dave, and our 3 Best Buddies, Buddy, Freddy, and Petey.
