About The Presenter


Morag Heirs is a regular contributor for BARKS from the Guild, PPGs official trade magazine. Morag holds a PhD in Health Sciences, plus the MSc and Honors degree. She has passed her PGCAP. Morag is a full member of APDT UK.

Morag shares her life with a deaf collie, a deaf and visually impaired collie and provide behavioural support for the UK based Deaf Dog Network among other organisations.

She attended workshops and courses with some truly amazing trainers and behaviorists including,  Barbara Sykes, Janet Finlay,Sarah Fisher, Robyn Hood, David Ryan (chairman of the APBC) and  Patricia McConnell PhD (author of The Other End of The Leash and other books).
