In this workshop, you will learn tools on how to keep your dog (or your client's dog) safe during storms while you start a behavior modification program to address your dog's phobia. We will discuss a long-term treatment plan, calming aids, food therapy and other protocols to assist in your dog's comfort during storms. 

We will also discuss how to identify dogs at risk and how to decrease the chance of thunder phobias with a prevention program. Last we will address how important it is to get your clients on board.

About The Presenter




Tonya Wilhelm has been a full-time dog training specialist for almost two decades. During this time she has succeeded in helping thousands of dog parents build happy, long-lasting relationships with their dogs using only humane, kind, and positive dog training methods.

Tonya focuses on treating dogs holistically, from the inside out. She has written a number of books, including Proactive Puppy Care, Please Stay and co-author of What's For Dinner, Dexter?: Cooking For Your Dog Using Chinese Medicine Theory. 

Tonya also writes various dog-themed blogs, is a frequent contributor in various magazines and present dog behavior workshops at various pet expos and events.
